2000 Silver Proof £5 Crown – Millennium - Gold Cameo

On offer is this beautifully designed Silver Proof FDC £5 Millennium commemorative £5 crown. The £5 piece was issued in 2000 in recognition of the passing over into the new millennium. This particular issue was designed with the British Isles and the clock hands sprayed in GOLD (see photo). There was only a limited number of pieces issued with this cameo relief.

The £5 crown is encapsulated to keep it’s proof quality and housed in a plush case with the certificate of Authenticity and colour booklet as issued by the Royal Mint.

This is truly a must have piece for the Silver Proof collector and surprisingly rare in the market for a modern coin.
