1995 Silver Proof £2 - Dove of Peace

A 1995 silver proof two pound coin struck by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the ending of the 2nd World War.  The reverse depicts a Dove of Peace. 

The coin is encased in a protective plastic capsule within it’s original presentation case, together with the Certificate of Authenticity.

This superb two-pound coin weighs 15.98 grammes, measures 28.40 millimetres in diameter and is legal tender within the UK. Struck in sterling (.925) silver to the finest Proof quality, only 50,000 of these superb coins have been authorised for worldwide distribution.
