2017 $10 1/2oz Silver Maple Leaf

This $10 coin is 99.99% pure silver, with a diameter of 34 millimetres and a nominal metal weight of 15.87 grams.  

Royal Canadian Mint engravers have meticulously reproduced the iconic design that appeared on the Canadian one-cent coin from 1937 to 2012 (with the exception of the centennial issue in 1967). Originally engraved by G.E. Kruger-Gray, it features a maple twig with two leaves, the larger leaf on the right slightly overlapping the other. Below the leaves is a commemorative text that reads “150 YEARS/ANS,” and is unique to this coin.

The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

A certificate accompanies this beautiful coin and confirms that your 2016 $10 fine silver coin is authorised by the Government of Canada.  The coin has been struck by the Royal Canadian Mint and has a limited mintage worldwide.
