2003 Silver Proof £5 Crown – QE II Coronation Jubilee

In 2003, to commemorate the Coronation Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, The Royal Mint released a Limited Issue Silver Proof £5 Five Pound Crown Coin.

On the obverse, the inscription "God Save The Queen" surrounded by the inscription "Coronation Jubilee” designed by Tom Phillips.

The reverse is a profile of the Queen in linear form, facing right with the inscription "Elizabeth II DEI GRA REGINA F D".

These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
