1994 Royal Mint Standard Proof Set

In 1994 the Royal Mint released a Proof 8 Coin collection of the present coinage of the United Kingdom.

The 1994 proof set contains:

The two pound coin issued to commemorate the 300th Anniversary of the founding of the Bank of England.

The one pound coin - Scottish design, featuring the rampant lion.

The 50p commemorating D-Day.

The other five circulating coins, 20 pence, 10 pence, 5 pence, 2 pence, and 1 penny.

All superbly packaged in a specially designed plastic case, and housed within an attractive blue leatherette wallet.

These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.
