As the UK counts down to this spectacular sporting event, the Royal Mint has struck a UK £5 coin in Silver Proof to FDC quality - a higher standard of minting than the coins in your pocket. Each coin in the sereis of four features a reverse design specially created by Claire Aldridge, a Royal Mint engraver, while the obverse bears the Queen’s portrait by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS.
