1992 Royal Mint Standard Proof Set

In 1992 the Royal Mint released a Proof 9 Coin collection of the present coinage of the United Kingdom.

This beautiful 1992 proof set contains:

The EC Fifty Pence - issued to commemorate the UK's presidency of the European Community from 1992 to 1993, which is also dual dated 1992 - 1993.

The One Pound Coin (English design) - with oak tree within a crown.

Both sizes of ten pence, the original larger version, and the new, smaller diameter version introduced this year.

The other five circulating coins – 50 pence, 20 pence, 5 pence, 2 pence, and 1 penny.

These legal tender coins have been struck to proof quality using specially prepared dies and highly polished blanks.

All superbly packaged in a specially designed plastic case, and housed within an attractive blue leatherette folding case, which doubles as a display case.
