This £5 coin celebrates the marriage of Prince William and Catherine Middleton. It is one of only two UK coin pieces to bear a double portrait commemorating a Royal Wedding day. The first was that of William's parents - The Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer.
This beautifully designed Royal Wedding coin has been designed by British sculptor Mark Richards.
Prince William and Catherine Middleton met when both were students at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. Their friendship blossomed into love and, on 16th November they announced their engagement and their plans to wed at Westminster Abbey on 29th April 2011.
Housed within a specially designed and informative coin folder and sealed in original Royal Mint packaging.
