2008 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Set - Emblems of Britain

The coinage of the United Kingdom has undergone many changes in the course of its long istory and decimalisation was one of the most significant.  The new coins bore modern designs that would become embles of their time. 

This set brings together seven coins bearing those classic coinage designs that have been part of the fabric of British life for many years.

The original decimal coins bore the portrait of the Queen by Arnold Machin.  The 2008 coins carry the more mature portrait of the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadley.
