2004 £5 BU Pack - 60th Anniversary - The D-Day Landings

Struck by the Royal Mint, this £5 crown has been produced in conjunction with The Royal British Legion to commemorate the 60^th Anniversary of the D-Day landings. 
 
The obverse effigy of Queen Elizabeth II has been designed by Ian Rank-Broadley. 

The reverse design represents the land, sea and air elements of the invasion that took place on 6^th June 1944.

This is a legal tender coin and features the poppy logo of The Royal British Legion in full colour.
