The 2005 £2 Silver Proof coin is struck in a combination of .925 sterling Silver, with a 22ct yellow gold plated outer circle. The obverse of has a magnificent portrait of Her Majesty the Queen by Ian Rank-Broadly, FRBS. The reverse, designed by Robert Elderton features a depiction of St Pauls Cathederal bathed in floodlight to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the End of World War II.

The Silver Proof £2 coin is encapsulated to keep its Proof quality, and housed in the Royal Mint case, and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity that guarantees its provenance.
