Third coin in five-coin Birds of Australia series.

The coin’s reverse portrays a male and female Regent Bowerbird in colour, headed by the inscription REGENT BOWERBIRD. The design also includes The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark. The Ian Rank-Broadley likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination are shown on the obverse.

The coin is housed in a classic display case with a delicately colored, illustrated shipper and comes with a numbered CoA.

This brand new coin program is inspired by the birds that inhabit the continent of Australia. Because of the nation’s island status, many of these species are unique and breathtakingly beautiful.

The Rainbow Lorikeet is unmistakable with its bright red beak and colourful plumage, and is often seen in loud and fast-moving flocks at dusk.  This vivid bird occupies habitats in the coastal regions across northern and eastern Australia, with a local population in Perth, Western Australia.
