2013 1/4oz Silver 100 Drams - Noah's Ark

This is a new 1/4oz silver coins from Armenia, issued for the first time in 2011. It shows Noah's Ark in front of Mount Ararat, the national symbol of Armenia, which nowadays is part of turkish territory. The famous motif of the peace dove also shows prominently.

According to the Bible Noah's Ark stranded by mount Ararat, then still Armenian territory, due to the Deluge.

The coins have a silver fineness of 999/1000 with superb detailing on both the obverse and reverse.
