1993 Brilliant Uncirculated Coin Set

Decimalisation in 1971 provided a rare opportunity to review the denomination, shape, size and design of all the United Kingdrom coins simultaneously.  The chosen designs for the reveverse of the new decimal coins were created by Christopher Ironside and, in the words of then Deputy Master of the Royal Mint, 'although new in style, have, for the most part, a long numismatic ancestry'.

On offer is the totally uncirculated year 1993 coin set containing as issued for circulation by the Royal Mint.

The set contains 8 coins as follows: 1p, 2p, 5p, 10p, 20p, 1 x 50p standard, & £1 - Royal Arms design.
