The success of Beatrix Potter’s first tale ‘The Tale of Peter Rabbit’ inspired the author and illustrator to continue to use rabbits for several more of her little tales. Readers were, and still are, delighted by the adventures of the rabbits and they were especially popular with younger readers. Flopsy Bunny continues the series celebrating the life and work of Beatrix Potter and this is the first time she has featured on an official UK coin.

Every detail on this coin is true to the original illustrations. Flopsy Bunny wears her distinguishable little jacket and is brought to life by colour printing. This coin is sterling silver and is finished to Proof standard – meaning Flopsy Bunny looks as if she’s hopped straight from the page onto the coin.

Each coin is presented in a clear acrylic presentation case and is accompanied by information on the character and quotes from Beatrix's original tales.  Housed in a presentation box, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
