CELEBRATING BEATRIX POTTER AND HER LITTLE TALES

Peter Rabbit appeared in the first of Beatrix Potter's little tales.  The antics of the blue-coated bunny in a daring adventure where we meet some friendly, and some not-so-friendly, characters along the way set the scene for the stories that would follow.

The designs for the 2018 series that celebrates the author and illustrator, and her little tales, are true to Beatrix's original illustrations, with every detail captured on the coin's small surface.  This is the first coin in this series, the other coins will feature Flopsy Bunny, The Tailor of Gloucester and Mrs Tittlemouse.

The Peter Rabbit design for 2018 is of the famous image of Peter Rabbit munching on radishes taken from Mr McGregor's garden.  The iconic illustration is brought to life with colour printing on this sterling silver coin, which is finished to finest Proof standard.

Each coin is presented in a clear acrylic presentation case and is accompanied by information on the character and quotes from Beatrix's original tales and housed in a presentation box, accompanied with a certificate of authenticity.
