This 1998 Masterpieces in Silver coin set is one of the 15,000 legal tender proof coin sets minted by the Royal Australian Mint.  The obverse arries the new portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley. Each of the nine coins is finished to the Mint's strict quality deadline.  The finished product has a flat mirror-like surface complimented by a delicately frosted raised design.

The coins are beautifully presented in the Royal Australian Mint original dark purple box, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and outer box.
